For each and every wedding Corey and I capture, I write a personal Hand Written journal entry.

This entry takes place within my Little Red-Hearted leather bound Wedding Memory Journal sitting upon my desk.

I’ve now decided to include a piece of this personal journal entry with you as a part of the couple’s blog…….

My Journal Entry always includes one very important thing I will always remember…….

-The Special thing I Will Always Remember:

Calming Jenny Down Pre-Ceremony as she was so nervous and felt so sick on her tummy….
at that moment, my camera went down to my side and my caring side took over.
I helped to breathe calmly and explained that she would be just fine. Sure enough she indeed was just fine.
There was a moment after their big day that I will always remember as well….that moment at their Photo-Screening when Jenny “thanked me” for calming her down.
Now that my friends…. is when our job turns into soooooo much more to us than just a photography job.
We really are there with our couples through everything, as they really do become our friends.

Jenny and Scott’s day was simply breathtaking at one of the most picturesque places in Winchester:
The Glen Burnie Gardens of the Shenandoah Valley Museum in Winchester, VA
Jenny was stunning, her dress being absolutely gorgeous! It was almost as if she was blanketed in a sea of delicate roses.
Scott oh so handsome and timeless as her sported his suspenders beneath his jacket. Such a beautiful couple, who we now call our friends

Of course one of our favorite things to do with our couples who start as clients, and leave as friends is their Photo-Screening in our Gallery
We loved hearing Jenny and Scott’s ahhhh moments as their eye’s met their wedding images for the very first time.
It’s such an amazing moment for us to know they are re-living their day through our eyes….and it’s so much more than could ever imagine.

There is one more AWESOME SURPRISE….but this one for US!!

And a Tiny Wooden TURTLE…you may be asking Why a Turtle and Not A Sharpie Stone/Shell???

This little wooden Turtle will take his place of honor in our Snapp-Shot Gallery, watch for his very own blog-post soon to come…..
It’s always such an overwhelming surprise for us when our couples think of “us”…So lucky to have couples like you two…thank you both!
We love you both Jenny & Scott and look forward to our Night Out together soon!

Oh what a joy it was meeting Ms. Gianna and her family!
Could anything be cuter than a Brown Eyed beauty looking back at the camera…..sure, when her Dad looks just like her
What a beautiful Family these three are!
Needless to say they are perfect for the dramatic images we are known to create.

Before I leave this blog, I’d like to also give a HUGE shout out to Ms. Gianna for being SUCH A TROOPER!
You see, there was to be an old tire tree swing but sadly the nest of wasps living in the tire had other thoughts.
Poor Gianna was stung, a small breather was taken and back at it she went.
I kid you not…I see modeling in her future…she can hold up to the harshest standards in the photography world

We can’t wait to work with this amazing family, as well as her little sister in the near future!!

Rebecca’s words exact…
“the only two things I had to have on my wedding day are Snapp-Shot and a Horse & Carriage”
She got both…. all while marrying her best friend…..and her dream day came true.
I will never forget hearing Rebecca say those words.

I will also never forget how nice everyone was to us, Rebecca with her sweet smile and Matt with his thoughtful ways.
Her Mom making sure we sat down to eat a good dinner,
His uncle making sure we were taken care of with the best golf cart ever and of course many friendly faces throughout.

Heaven The Salon Experience A Paul Mitchell Focus Salon Our Second time working with Michael Gregg and his team…..you might remember the PREVIOUS SHOOT we did with them.
Michael and his team revolve each shoot around a theme…this one being Long Hair. They use their full artistic abilities to create fabulous works of hair and style art on their models. It’s always so much fun creating the best lighting scheme to reflect their image of art. Many of the images are used for Paul Mitchell contests, promotions, and events throughout.
We can’t wait to work with Michael and his amazing team again.

Wedding “Ashley & Nick” Winchester Virginia

We met Ashley and Nick last year 2009 while we were capturing Sara and Mike’s big day!
Ashley fell in love with our work and knew right away we were the photographers for her big day as well the following year.
The following year arrived before we knew it.

Now….any of you who know Ashley, know how much she LOVES to Blog.
I’ve decided to do this blog entry a little different.
This is Dedicated to Ashley and her LOVE of Blogging…of course not sure mine will compare to Ashley’s:

But I’ll give it a try……..here we go…….

ASHLEY:
So beautiful, So natural, So Fun, and So very sweet.
I feel her dress 100% reflected who she is as a person, fun and full of flowing ruffles.
Even wearing a bit of bling to show how fun she is.
Of course not to forget her little blue shoes

NICK:
So Kind, So handsome, Loves Baseball and seems would do anything in the world for Ashley.
The wedding was full of fun things dedicated to Nick’s Love of Baseball
From the Jersey being signed by all guests,
to his Nephew/ring bearer walking down the isle with a baseball bat

THEIR FRIENDS:
Wow, I truly do not think I have ever met a closer group of friends than Ashley with her girls and Nick with his guys!
They all do everything together, from weddings to parties, from shopping to sports.
There is even a traditional picture captured at each wedding of the girls and their mothers.
It was such a neat bond to witness between all of their friends.

THE CEREMONY:
A beautiful ceremony taking place within the church Ashley grew up in

LAST BUT NOT LEAST….
THE HAPPY COUPLE MR. AND MRS. SBORZ:
Wow, what can I say about these two.
Their eyes light up from the moment they see one another.
Just being around them, you can sense right away that they are not only in-love, but also best-friends.
They love creating their home together, working on household projects, as well as share the love of teaching within their careers.
I can tell they will truly live the “Happily Ever After” fairytale.
We can’t wait to continue our every growing friendship with these two…such an awesome couple!

Many of you might remember the oh so very cute Engagment Images we did “Bicycle Style”

The same amazing couple now said “I Do” and we were there to capture every moment of it.
Lynden and Dan are such a fun couple, Lynden so worried she won’t be able to pull off the sexy serious look of Snapp-Shot….ummmm..as you can see, I think she can
Dan being so confident that he can pull of any look we ask him to….ummmmm…as you can see, he can
After the ceremony we decide to head downtown to do some romantic night-time shots, something fun and a little different than we have done in the past.
Their big day started at their church in Front Royal VA…such a sweet ceremony.

After a fun day of love and photos, we headed back to Bowling Green Country Club for their reception

And of course it wouldn’t be a Snapp-Shot Shoot without an “ERIN it’s a WRAP” shot

Wish wish Lynden and Dan a lifetime of love and happiness.
They are so kind, so caring, so thoughtful, so fun, and just such an all around nice couple…we look forward to a lifelong friendship with them.

It’s very unusual for us to do a shoot of any type without meeting with the clients first.
Needless to say scheduling Natalie and Ernie’s engagement shoot without meeting them face to face prior, made us wonder if we would all connect???
As all of you know who have ever worked with us, it takes us connecting with the client and our couples to really pull out the art within our hearts.
We also need 100% trust for us and our visions…..we had all of the above with Natalie and Ernie.
Which also not only made this shoot happen for us, it also made us realize we already have the connection we need with them for their Wedding in 2011!
Now I will simply let the images speak for themselves………..

We’ve known Whitney and Brian for years within the music side of the industry….
so needless to say when they contacted us to do their wedding and engagement photos we were really excited.
It’s almost like going full circle…completing a heart of friendship.
We watched Brian Grow on Stage as an artist and now watching him grow as he marries his best friend.
To be a part of this is something really words can’t even explain.

Brian and Whitney are so in love, so fun, almost children at heart…but yet still loved getting the known Snapp-Sexy-Serious within their shoot too!
As with all of our couples, they feel the shoot would not be complete without this known concept from us.
One of their favorite places to go is Stribling Orchard
We couldn’t have asked for a prettier day to do their shoot…an apple pick’n we go!

Wedding Jill & Dave Greencastle Pennsylvania

Jill and Dave had originally thought to not have a professional photographer at their wedding,
that is until they saw our work. They fell in love with our work, and contacted us right away.
Their wedding day was going to be our only weekend off in the month of October, but after hearing how much they loved our work and how they truly couldn’t imagine
their day without us….we of course agreed. How could we not agree?
We are so glad we did. They were married in Greencastle PA at Green Grove Gardens.
Dave’s Dad brought his awesome antique car to the wedding, which of course flowed perfectly with Jill’s vintage attire.
Wow…truly beautiful
They were such a great couple to work with. So easy going, trusted us with every shot, and they made sure we were well taken care of.
