July 24th, 2010 the HOTTEST day of the year heat index reaching 110 degrees.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen…we had a wedding to shoot outside.

Chris & Jenn’s wedding took place at the Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, VA.
They hired us not only for our wedding work, but also for our fun photo booth!
We arrived at 10am to set up the photo booth, thank goodness this was an indoor event.
Met up with Chris and Jenn later in the afternoon, the hottest part of the day to be exact.
Even though we found a bit of shade, we were all dripping within an hour.
Never throughout all of our weddings, or shoots have we been this hot.
But some how we all made it through.

Chris and Jenn were such great sports and made sure we were well hydrated and cooled off as much as possible throughout.
Can’t thank them enough for that.
Chris and Jenn weren’t the only ones making sure everyone was doing ok within this intense heat.
The FireFighters also made a journey throughout the park that day.
Upon their journey they decided to stop and ask if we would enjoy shooting on the firetruck!
Who would ever say no to that?
We quickly gathered up the lights and hopped upon the big red truck!

We have enjoyed this couple from the very start, Chris is such a funny guy and I will miss his emails so much.
(Chris if you are reading this…feel free to send me your amusing emails at any given time)
Jenn is such a sweet girl, so calm and so natural.
Really did enjoy both of them so very much.

The photo booth was also crazy-fun!
The guests and wedding party were all so much fun….and the booth was the hit of the reception.

Of course most of you know the famous “Erin it’s a Wrap” shot….well this is the hottest, reddest, craziest “Erin it’s a Wrap” shot YET!

After returning from their honeymoon it was time for their VIP Screening in the Snapp-Shot Screening Room.
They were overjoyed with their photos and as always this was our favorite part of the job.
Seeing their eyes light up as they re-live their day was such an amazing feeling.

They also brought us not one, but TWO Rocks from their trip to add to the Snapp-Shot Sharpie Stone Collection!!!
One they picked up upon their feet and the other a beautiful egg shaped rock native to Jamaica that they purchased for us…so sweet they bought a gift for us
Chris and Jenn, we hope our friendship doesn’t end here.
We look forward to continuing our friendship throughout and of course keeping up to date with the home owner dramas!
May you have a love filled marriage
