Becky and Matt are such a sweet couple!
One of my favorite things about them are the little shy looks they give to one another.
Almost as two teenagers in love. Was a beautiful thing to watch.
Becky had the cutest laugh while posing in her Snapp-Serious-Sexy pose…she’d giggle a bit and then Bam, nailed each shot.

Their wedding was a beautiful backyard vintage type wedding that took place on her parent’s property.
Their day was full of romance, fun, and love.

There are two other fun things I will never forget.
Instead of the traditional Cake being served to guests, they served yummy pies made by Savoir Fare Limited
Their dinner, their pies, all made to perfection!!!

Next fun thing was a “Wilbur” the French Bulldog.
Now any of you who know me well, know that I have a “thing” for dogs and especially “smushy faced” dogs.
I had no idea Becky owned a Frenchie until I found him upon my feet looking up at me as he sat quietly on the carpet.
OMG, I was in heaven…but then I had to quickly snap back into work mode.

Their Photo-Screening was also perfect, they were full of smiles as they relived their day with us.
Only thing that would have been better would have been to have had Wilbur there for me to cuddle. haha
Becky & Matt’s Day….was beautiful and we look forward to continuing our friendship with them.
They are such a sweet couple. Lots of Forever Love to you both!

Heaven The Salon Experience A Paul Mitchell Focus Salon Our Second time working with Michael Gregg and his team…..you might remember the PREVIOUS SHOOT we did with them.
Michael and his team revolve each shoot around a theme…this one being Long Hair. They use their full artistic abilities to create fabulous works of hair and style art on their models. It’s always so much fun creating the best lighting scheme to reflect their image of art. Many of the images are used for Paul Mitchell contests, promotions, and events throughout.
We can’t wait to work with Michael and his amazing team again.
Not only are they great clients of ours, he also works his magic with my own hair! I highly recommend you check them out

Kirsten and Ben said I do May 15th 2011.
We met Ben and Kirsten after seeing our work we did with a previous 2010 wedding couple “Cyndi & Eric”
Not only did we have the connection of another one of our couples, but we also found out at our first meeting that we had another very important connection…his name is Stewie….LOL, yes we share the love of Family Guy!
That’s the only time I’ve ever been able to write on our notation, they love Family Guy just like us!
Oh the little things that make us smile.

Getting to know Kirsten and Ben has been wonderful. Through the emails, the Facebook Chats, the coffee dates, the chickfila dates, and the simple saying hi…all have been great!
Great friends and great clients to work with.

Now let me take you to their wedding day….
We may have had rain, but what a blessing it was because it made for beautiful indoor images.
Kirsten, Ben, their wedding party, and their family were all so nice and as you can see they were all beautiful!
We loved every single moment of their day and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Their Photo-Screening was also very unique in it’self. We frantically texted back in forth throughout their drive to our place because we were under a tornado warning! Funny thing is, the storm was forgotten the moment they set eyes on their wedding day images. It was an amazing thing to see. We watched their eyes light up as soon as they saw the first image on the big screen. Once again it was a perfect time with them.
We look forward to our friendship growing with them now and always!

Father / Daughter Shoot

We worked with Eric for several years within the music industry.
While working for Loudoun Summer Music Fest.
Needless to say we were so excited when he contacted us to do a personal shoot.
We’ve been waiting to debut these…as they were being used as Christmas Gift’s for Eric’s family

It was such a joy working with Eric and his two beautiful daughters!!!
Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Fire Up the Double-Ovens!

Thanksgiving 2010 at our house….yes that’s right, I said “our house”
Since we moved in last year we have not once used our double ovens….
that is until now

Everything was perfect, we had Cocktail Hour, Had fun Snappers with prizes inside on the table, an awesome dinner full of Mac n Cheese, Turkey, Stuffing, Broccoli Casserole, Wine, and Pie.
Most important we totally enjoyed our time with the family. Who knows, it might just become a Snapp-Tradition.
Thanks SO much to our amazing family who brought food, wine, and lots of hugs..couldn’t have done it without you.
We love you all

Wedding “Ashley & Nick” Winchester Virginia

We met Ashley and Nick last year 2009 while we were capturing Sara and Mike’s big day!
Ashley fell in love with our work and knew right away we were the photographers for her big day as well the following year.
The following year arrived before we knew it.

Now….any of you who know Ashley, know how much she LOVES to Blog.
I’ve decided to do this blog entry a little different.
This is Dedicated to Ashley and her LOVE of Blogging…of course not sure mine will compare to Ashley’s:

But I’ll give it a try……..here we go…….

ASHLEY:
So beautiful, So natural, So Fun, and So very sweet.
I feel her dress 100% reflected who she is as a person, fun and full of flowing ruffles.
Even wearing a bit of bling to show how fun she is.
Of course not to forget her little blue shoes

NICK:
So Kind, So handsome, Loves Baseball and seems would do anything in the world for Ashley.
The wedding was full of fun things dedicated to Nick’s Love of Baseball
From the Jersey being signed by all guests,
to his Nephew/ring bearer walking down the isle with a baseball bat

THEIR FRIENDS:
Wow, I truly do not think I have ever met a closer group of friends than Ashley with her girls and Nick with his guys!
They all do everything together, from weddings to parties, from shopping to sports.
There is even a traditional picture captured at each wedding of the girls and their mothers.
It was such a neat bond to witness between all of their friends.

THE CEREMONY:
A beautiful ceremony taking place within the church Ashley grew up in

LAST BUT NOT LEAST….
THE HAPPY COUPLE MR. AND MRS. SBORZ:
Wow, what can I say about these two.
Their eyes light up from the moment they see one another.
Just being around them, you can sense right away that they are not only in-love, but also best-friends.
They love creating their home together, working on household projects, as well as share the love of teaching within their careers.
I can tell they will truly live the “Happily Ever After” fairytale.
We can’t wait to continue our every growing friendship with these two…such an awesome couple!
